Disclaimer: I received free tickets in exchange for this review. The opinions are a result of my attendance to this play and are my own.
Before I woo you with this review, I have two confessions to make.
1. I did not know about Knuffle Bunny prior to my invitation to review. So we ventured off the library and borrowed the book to read. He was semi-intrigued by the story, but I was still hopeful about the play.
2. I was scared and quite nervous to go to a 45 minute play with my young toddler for obvious reasons: he’s a young toddler. My son has never been to a live show before and he is “touch and go” when it comes to experiencing new things. I was praying with all my might that he would sit still; not complain and cry, and enjoy the show
So here we go, prayers made and all fears laid aside: Off to the Long Island Children’s Museum to see Knuffle Bunny: A Cautionary Musical last week.
Knuffle Bunny: A Cautionary Musical is a play based off of the Caldecott Honor winning book Knuffle Bunny: A Cautionary Tale written by 6-time Emmy Award winner Mo Willems, who is also known for his writing on Sesame Street.
